2020/21 ROUTING GUIDE
GENERAL INFORMATION

Ship merchandise to the ship-to address designated on the Purchase Order. NLRP has several receiving locations.

To help control rising freight costs, please consolidate orders as much as possible within our required ship dates.
ALL SHIPMENTS MUST CONTAIN A CLEARLY MARKED PACKING LIST
The packing list must contain the following information:

Vendor name and address
-
Vendor ship-from location
-
Shipper name and method of shipment
-
Ship date
-
NLRP ship-to address
-
Vendor item numbers
-
Purchase Order number
-
Carton count
-
Quantity per carton
-
Total quantity shipped
-
Product expiration dates & lot numbers (if applicable)
-
Weights of shipment
PACKING INSTRUCTIONS
-
Pack product into single SKU cartons.
-
Cartons should not weigh more than 35 lbs.
-
Please use best judgment when determining the appropriate quantity of items to pack per carton.

Packing mixed cartons may be done on a highly limited basis if the unit quantities are such that packing as a single SKU carton is not reasonable (i.e., packing as single SKU would result in 5 items / carton when that carton could otherwise fit 40 items)

Pallets should be standard size – 40 X 48” and not exceeding 60” high

SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS
All inbound shipments must be announced to the NLRP Logistics department prior to carrier delivery
Any shipment that delivers without notification is subject to penalties

Packing lists must be provided prior to shipment
-
The packing list must match the SAND PO and SKU. DO NOT USE VENDOR INTERNAL SKU #s.

Shipments of a combined weight of 350+ LBS and/or 10+ CTNS should be shipped LTL
-
Parcel Shipments (UPS/FEDEX/DHL)

If vendor created labels, please send tracking once shipment is tendered

Maintain consistent labeling across all cartons in a shipment
